One of the most interesting cultural events in Spring 2009 is for sure the imposing exhibition "Giotto e il Trecento. Il più sovrano maestro stato in dipintura" (“Giotto and the Trecento. The most sovereign master of painting”) celebrating the work of the most well-known and admired artist.
The show can be visited at the Vittoriano of Rome from March 6 to June 28. Placed under the President of the Italian Republic’s auspice, besides a stunning collection of masterpieces from all over Italy, it offers visitors a unique occasion; the opportunity to view some scenes taken from the most celebrated frescoes of Giotto through a didactic system of interactive visualization. They represent a preview of the acquisitions made by Haltadefinizione at the Chapel of the Scrovegni of Padua and the Upper Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi.
