Ten years after the conclusion of the restoring works, The Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper becomes the main protagonist of an evening event organized by the Department for Architectural and Landscape Heritage of the City of Milan. The image by Haltadefinizione of the Last Supper, projected onto a 20 m2 maxi-screen, will accompany the interventions of the event enabling to capture all details of the twenty years restoring work.
In the stunning setting of the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, introduced by the sound of antique harps of Mrs. Fernanda Giulini’s collection, Mr. Giorgio Albertazzi will read some passages from “The Leonardo’s Last Supper” by J.W. Goethe. The Leonardo’s genius and his most celebrated masterpiece will be honoured by Mr Pietro Cesare Marani, one of the foremost experts of Leonardo, and Mons. Franco Giulio Brambilla, vicar-general for Culture of the Diocese of Milan.
