The Last Supper of Leonardo: reflections and results on the 10th anniversary of the restoration
A meeting at the Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the restoration of Leonardo's masterpiece.
The meeting took place at the Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan, with the participation, among others, of Martina Bagnoli, the Director of the Galleria and Biblioteca Estense in Modena, Paolo Cavicchioli, President of the Cassa di Risparmio Modena Foundation and Luca Panini, Managing Director of the publishing company Franco Cosimo Panini Editore.
The Haltadefinizione image of the Last Supper will be at the center of a meeting at the Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan. The Culture Minister Sandro Bondi and the Mayor of Milan, Letizia Moratti, will attend, together with distinguished art historians such as Pietro Cesare Marani and the management of the Superintendencies of Architectural and Landscape Heritage. This meeting marks the end of celebrations for the 10th anniversary of the restoration carried out in Santa Maria delle Grazie.
It will be possible to see the gigapixel images both as background of the speeches and on a 65-inch touch screen, produced in cooperation with Microsoft and Nemes, while an impressive ten-foot by five-foot reproduction of the painting (3 x 1,5 m) by Haltadefinizione will be on exhibition in the meeting area.
